Some of you may have noticed, that there is still some painting to do. Taking over an old milk bar that has been sub divided, has given me a clean white background inside. I have to give some love to the brick frontage and sand and repaint the front door - hence the roller photo bombing my studio image!
This space is light and open, and I have already had some lovely chats with neighbours, staff and volunteers from the Neighbourhood House.
To answer some of the most asked questions:
- I am not opening a cafe, I do however always have the kettle on for classes and appointments, and have invested in a little coffee machine
- I will have some jewellery available for sale, and I will be open by appointment for sales and consultations but the studio is still primarily a working studio
- As well as running my own classes I will be inviting other creatives to run workshops in my space
